How to deal with stress

Updated: Dec 12, 2021

Different things work for different people, so you must be open to try a different approach.

How to cope;

When we are overwhelmed, i believe that thinking positively, eating well and moving are the key to overall balance and happiness.

But when overwhelmed, it can be hard to see a clear way forward, but just remember your mind holds the power.

The decision is yours, let stress drown you or take the driving seat and achieve small steps every day towards a better place, it's a choice only you can make.

We dedicate time to train our bodies, but we forgot to spend time and energy to our minds.

We forgot to be gratefull to the small things we achieved and we should be masters on this.

Life is about being emotionally fit and healthy

It's hard to avoid stress, but elevated stress levels increase the release of cortisol, which can increase blood sugar levels, also can be linked to high blood pressure.

It's important to try control the maximum we can how we react to stress if we can.

So i gonna give you a few tips i use myself to manage stress and keep mind happy;

  1. Try and do a positive thing every day and write it down- it will help you to finish the day by looking at what you have achieved;

  2. Understand situations that aggravate your feelings of anxiety- for example, journal how you feel and discuss any feelings of anxiety with your partner/family or a person you trust;

  3. Try to fit in some kind of exercise that you enjoy- it enables you to switch off your mind, which can also help with sleep as mind and body are closed linked;

  4. Believe & Achieve- write down some short-medium and long term goals to help you keep focused. Everything i have ever achieved it's because i believe anything is possible with dedication and hard work. Our thoughts, set the standard for what we make happen and having goals provides great focus.

  5. Stop comparing yourself to others- remember everyone is different with there own hopes, beliefs and goals. Focus on yourself and don't look over your shoulder;

  6. Be realistic and don't give up- for example, if you have a bad food day, miss a training session, it's ok, just start again the next day, doing what is supposed to be

your diet or training. Setbacks and disappointments are part of life;

  1. Delegate and ask for help when you need it-it's ok if you can't do everything yourself. Asking for help or for some type of advice will take stress out of the situation.

Just remember, only you can control your life, is no such thing as "luck", only someone did certain things you didn't to get to the place or goals they desire to be.

You are the master of your life, the decisions you make today will dictate your tomorrow and will have a big impact in the next decision your future self will make.
